Kamarin Computers Celebrates Triple Success At Local Business Awards

Peterborough software developer, Kamarin Computers, has been named the winner of the Digital and Technology Award at the Peterborough Telegraph Business Excellence Awards 2019, and its Managing Director, George Smith, has won Young Entrepreneur of the Year. The company was also shortlisted and Highly Commended for the Small Business of the Year Award.

Kamarin Computers, which was established in Peterborough in 1981, is the developer of the integrated EPOS product range, KC Solutions. Its customer base includes the likes of the Eden Project, RAF Museum and Paultons Park.

The awards recognised the company for having “harnessed new technologies to give its firm the edge over the rest by innovating their systems, products and procedures in the business.”

The wins come at a very exciting time for Kamarin, who is currently developing new technologies to incorporate into their popular KC Solutions product portfolio.

Managing Director George Smith, who joined the business in 2015, says: “I am extremely proud of everyone at the Kamarin team and grateful for all of their hard work. With 21 employees, we may not be the biggest company, but that doesn’t mean we’re not doing great things for the industry.”
