There’s Always Time To Help Others
At Kamarin Computers we take our charitable responsibilities very seriously, as well as an immense amount of pride in the hard work and planning we do to fundraise for worthy organisations. As a company we follow the mission statement, ‘Best Today, Better Tomorrow’, in everything we do, and that extends to our charitable contributions.
In June 2018 we ran the Hull 10K for our chosen charity.
The Social and Charity Committee
The Social and Charity Committee at Kamarin is internally managed by employees and runs independently from the company management, but everyone is welcome to join. Georgina Birley, PA to the Directors, is a member of the committee, “we decide amongst ourselves what charity to support and how to raise money for it. Last year the committee raised £2000, and then company contributed £1000, which was a great success”.
“It’s easy to get caught up in our day to day lives and to focus on our own priorities and concerns. Our nominated charity gives us all the opportunity to stop and think about others. Not only that, it gives us a platform to do something about it, to take action and make a difference!”
– George Smith, Managing Director
2018’s Chosen Charity
This year we are raising money for Jerry Green Dog Rescue, who care for and rehome rescue dogs. Some of us have even taken in rescue dogs from Jerry Green, so the charity is close to many.
In June, 4 members of Kamarin Computers spent the day volunteering at Jerry Greens. It was an amazing day spending time with the dogs, however it was also a fantastic experience seeing first-hand the selfless and passionate work the staff at Jerry Greens do.

We take the time to plan and partake in fundraising events as we believe that the work our chosen charity carries out massively contributes to our community. Please support us and donate.
As one of the country’s leading IT and Business Software providers, you will be joining a business full of challenges and opportunity. Our core products include IT Infrastructure, IT Security, Accounts Software, EPOS and Telecoms. Over the past 35 years we have been delivering excellent solutions and service to our 600 (and counting) customers, and now we are looking for someone else to join the team and help!
We are an ambitious company striving to be excellent in everything we do and we take the personal development of our team very seriously. In fact, it’s at the core of our whole strategy, so you will be given the chance to grow and develop through a personal development and coaching plan. We also believe in rewarding our staff for all of their hard work. This means 25 day’s holiday (plus the Christmas break off), pension scheme, cake on your birthday, time off to support local charities and a performance related profit share. If you think Kamarin sounds like the sort of company you’d like to work for, then we’d love to hear from you.
Pictured above is Jethro Shearring (centre), Dove House Hospice’s Fundraising Coordinator, who came by in person to thank us for our fundraising efforts. He was greeted by staff John (left) and Tim (right), who ran the Tough Mudder last year to raise funds for Dove House.
“We would like to thank all the staff members at Kamarin Computers for your amazing support throughout 2017. Your efforts will help to ensure that we can continue to be at the forefront of end of life care for the 25 years and beyond”.
