Document Management System For Pegasus Opera II

Kamarin Computers have developed KC DMS to further enhance the capabilities of Pegasus Opera II.

KC DMS is a document management module that allows users to easily organise and index both scanned paper documents and electronically produced documents. SQL based for speed and reliability, KC DMS will let you replace your paper mountain with a simple database, and easy search facilities mean you will always be able to find that important document.

Scanned Documentation

Using any TWAIN based scanner, users can store and index Delivery Notes, Orders, Invoices etc. and save them against the relevant record in Opera II. Documents can be scanned individually or by batch if required.

Electronic Documentation

Any electronic files from Word and Excel to PDF documents to name just a few can also be saved against Opera II records allowing you to store pictures, drawings or specifications just where you need them.

Any stored records can be accessed from Opera II or can be viewed through the KC DMS search facility for non-Opera users.

Key Functionality within KC DMS Includes:

• Ability to import both paper and electronically based documentation.
• Integrated with Opera II or alternatively can operate stand alone.
• View indexed documents within Opera II in relation to information such as accounts, transactions and stock items that were.
• indexed with KC DMS.
• Comprehensive search facilities provide users with a quick look up process for locating and viewing indexed documents.
• Ability to email or print documentation from KC DMS.
• Management of scanned or imported documents through the use of In Trays which direct workflow to specified users.
• Inclusion of Business Areas, enabling effective yet simple indexing of documents.
• Simple to use and seamlessly integrated with Opera II.

KC DMS provides users with the ability to link and index documentation to the following modules within Opera II:

• Sales
• Purchase
• Stock
• Sales Order Processing
• Purchase Order Processing

Additional documents outside Opera II can simply be indexed and viewed through the core DMS module.
